YONDER.Swim
If you follow Yonder Living on Instagram or Twitter you may have noticed a bit of a recurring obsession of ours... So you can imagine how thrilled we were this week to have our Hammam Towels and Cactus Verde Bath Salts featured in the latest edition of the South East London Journal – The Swimming Pool edition. In light of this, as well as the long awaited arrival of summer, we thought would take this as an opportunity to dedicate a whole post to our life-long love of going swimming!
Let’s be honest there is probably no better place to be, in our opinion anyway, that aimlessly floating in ocean somewhere far away. And of course who could ever deny the feeling of pure bliss that comes from taking a cool dip on a hot day. But while these are certainly the kind of moments we find ourselves day dreaming about in the Yonder office come 3pm, it is the daily evening swim, in our local indoor pool, that has become our most treasured swim of all.
In all honesty, by the time it gets to five o’clock there is often the temptation to head straight home and simply crash after a long day in office. But not once has anyone ever regretted a swim! So we go, no matter what. As soon as you are submerged in water and you start to feel the stresses of the day drift away with every length there really is nowhere else we would rather be. Even the unmistakable chemical smell of chlorine seems to act as an instant and nostalgic pick me up.
With this post-work swim becoming a daily ritual, it is not much of a surprise that our Mediterranean Hammam Towel has become somewhat of a key item in our lives. Quite honestly how anyone lives without one is beyond us, especially if you are fond of trips to the pool, gym or spa! Super lightweight to pack and carry around, brilliantly absorbent and unbelievably quick drying, not to mention it really does adding a much needed touch of style to our somewhat boring, but practicable, black swimming costume.
